Hospital to Home Program
At Paradise Healthcare we know that transitional periods are pivotal points in our lives no matter how big or small. In these times of transition, we need to lean on a caring face and a helping hand to guide us through this period. With the Hospital to Home Program this is what we especially aim to do. This program will allow your loved one an easy and seamless transition between hospital care and returning safely back home where ever home will be. A peaceful transition allows for healing not only physically but mentally and emotionally.
Cognitive Development Program
This program allows for a more advanced approach in dealing with cognitive decline. Caregivers are trained to provide a series of activities that target certain domains of the brain. It is hoped with increased stimulation that new neural pathways can be created. With illnesses such as Alzheimer’s plaque forms in the brain causing decline in areas such as memory and learning, language, executive functions, complex attention, social cognition and perceptual and motor functioning. With this program it is hoped that we are able to increase the functioning in several of these domains which may slow down the process of cognitive decline.
Palliative Care Program
At Paradise Healthcare we understand a special role that we can play in our client’s lives. Our clients are from a variety of backgrounds, and they all hold beautiful and important stories. With our palliative care program, we assist those clients who are writing their last chapter. We aim to make those final pages as peaceful and harmonious as possible. We take care of all of the characters in your story that you hold dear to your heart with our family integrating with yours to give you and your family the support you need in these most important moments. We would love for you to give us the honour of letting us be in your story.
